This fabulous 9ct Yellow Gold Suffragette pendant was made during the Edwardian era, Circa 1910. It is adorned with Pearls, an Amethyst dropper and a central green Peridot displaying the prime Suffragette colours.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
All set in Yellow Gold and complete with the 9ct hallmark on the reverse. It will look fabulous on a Gold chain, a unique collectable piece.
